This little tyke was only about 4 or 5 weeks old when he was found in Arlington and taken to the local shelter. Unfortunately, he couldn’t be adopted because he had sarcoptic mange which is contagious and very itchy. Unless a rescue group wanted him, he would be put to sleep. A rescue group was found for the little puppy and he was taken from the shelter. Then, the rescue group decided they didn’t want him any more. Other rescue groups were contacted, but no one had room for him. He became the little puppy no one wanted. But not for long. Thanks to a fairy godmother named Cathy and a non-profit group called FAAS (Friends of Arlington Animal Services), his future is looking much brighter. He now has a name – Joey. His mange is cured and he is feeling much better. As soon as he’s finished with his puppy vaccinations and is neutered, he will ready to go to a very special home that will love him forever.
Joey is probably about 8 weeks old now. He weighs a whopping 10 lbs and eats like a little piglet. He’s even trying very hard to master the art of “paper training”. He’ll sometimes miss the paper, but he tries. At 8 weeks old, after having such a horrible start in life, that’s pretty darn good! He’s still trying to figure out what toys are. His favorite so far is a plush squeaky bone. He thinks that’s great fun.
Joey is available for adoption in the DFW area only. You can contact his foster mom at 817-292-4396.

Axel is a bit shy, but he friendlies up quickly with new people. He has a calm demeanor. He weighs about 70 lbs and is estimated to be a year old. He was surrendered to the shelter by his owner. He’s been at the shelter since the first week of April and he’s starting to give up hope. His tracking number is 15847. He’s available to rescue or adopt and would love a good home!

Hi my name is Yogi and I am four years old. I was surrendered by my family and really miss them. I am good with kids, however, I do not enjoy them on top of me. Would you please adopt me and love me forever. I am housebroken, do not chew on furniture, good indoor/outdoor dog, and very lovable. I also have all of his vaccines.
Hi my name is Marshmellow and was a stray that was rescued in Longview. When I was picked up I had the worst case of fleas that the Longview Shelter had ever seen. Through the help of many pet lovers I am currently in a foster home in Keller. I am about 1 1/2 years old. I enjoy small and large dogs. I am also around a 3 year old with my foster mom and like being around him. I am an indoor dog and like to also play outside with other dog(s). I am not an energetic dog but will love my new owners. I enjoy laying on my pillow and like to relax. I am a large American Bulldog and average around 95pds.
Hazard was my second foster and a great dog. He was adopted by a loving family in Arlington.
Drake is a very large red American Bulldog. He is now in a great home and really gets along with his new buddies. We were worried he would eat the two. He was left at a shelter in Justin Animal Control and did not know English due to being taught in Spanish. After I tought him English he was adopted by a wonderful family with two other small dogs that were not fixed.
This girl was adopted by Steve, a Fort Worth Police officer. Dive is enjoying her new home!
This was my first American Bulldog foster and the reason I got in the business. After fostering him for a while he has finally gone to a loving home and is very happy.
Tank is an American Bulldog mix. He is great with children and other dogs. He has all of his shots and is fixed. He enjoys being indoors and is crate trained. He is currently playing with three other dogs and does well with any dog. He weights around 50 pounds.
Hi my name is Hoss (Male). I was found as a stray in Austin right before Christmas. I had to spend Christmas in a shelter instead of with my family. I am potty trained, crate trained, sit, stay, down, and roll over. I also get along with children and do not like to be alone. I am scared that I will be left again. I also am micro-chipped and will be current with all of my vaccines.
